I know as soon as I write this I will forever regret it, but I can’t help but celebrate. Harper slept though the night last night! For the first time! For months I have been a mess of indecision about how to get her to sleep. We vaguely attempted sleep training (crying it out), but I don’t have the stomach for it. I think I might be able to tolerate it better, if I didn’t know people who went thought weeks of sleepless nights listening to their babies cry, celebrated their success, and a month later had to do it all over again. I thought about dream feeding her, but I’m just too sleepy at the end of the day. So, while I was fretting about what to do, she slept without my help or intervention.
Of course, now that I have told you about this, she probably won’t sleep thought the night till she is 18. Oh well. I have been up since 4:30 a.m. anyway, too excited to sleep.
